Jane is the award winning author of over 80 books for young children, including numerous picture books such as Stuck in the Mud and the popular fiction series Al’s Awesome Science. Her favourite fairy character is the ugly duckling and she is fond of carrot cake cupcakes with swirly frosting. Jane loves animals, fossils and being a grandma, and enjoys writing her stories and poems and sharing them on visits to schools and nurseries.
