Guido van Genechten was born in Mol (Belgium), where he studied drawing, painting, graphics and photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mol. Before becoming a fulltime author/illustrator of children’s books, Guido worked in the graphic design industry. He has created many best-selling books and received several awards. Guido’s books have been published in 40 countries.
